Baraha Paimana (बारह पैमाना) an exploration of perception, fragmentation, and the parallel lives we inhabit.

Unfolding like a film roll of fragmented realities through a sequence of shifting scenes, the work captures a room filled with people, each existing within the same physical space yet inhabiting an entirely different psychological world. What appears to be a shared moment becomes a collision of private narratives, distorted perceptions, and unseen emotional landscapes.

Divided into eight individual sections, the painting disrupts its own continuity. Each fragment stands as an independent reality, seemingly disconnected from the others. Separated, the scenes appear to belong to entirely different spaces, moments, or worlds. Reassembled, they reveal a subtle and unsettling truth: they have always occupied the same room.
